Another Birthday...

Sophie Bear is a bit confused today. She knows that it's someone's birthday and there are lots of presents but Miss Wellsbury says that none of them are for her.

Today is Miss Wellsbury's boyfriend's birthday. That's why there are lots of presents. He has opened them and Sophie is looking at what he has got.

It's another new friend for Sophie. This is Chester Bear. He is a Project Management bear which means he works in an office and wears a suit with lilac shirt.

What colour is his tie - can you see?

Sophie thinks he is very smart.

Hang on - what's that looking around the sofa?

Sophie - can you see something?

It's a very shy animal. Oh dear - I think Sophie has scared him. You have to be very quiet around shy animals like this. He is an anteater.

Can you guess what his favourite food is? "Chocolate?", asked Sophie hopefully. "No silly, ants.", said Miss Wellsbury. "EUCHHH - gross!", said Sophie.

"He has a very long nose.", "Yes - that's to suck up the ants with."

Hang on - I thought these presents were for Miss Wellsbury's boyfriend? Sophie - stop playing with his remote controlled Ford Focus...

"Not fair - he's already got one on the drive". "Yes - but this one doesn't cost so much when he hits things with it." "Oh yes!", said Sophie cheekily.

What else did he get? Well there is a cool blender. Sophie has to keep away because it has sharp blades but they use it to make special drinks called smoothies. They taste great and are very good for you.

Can you guess what flavour of smoothie Sophie would like? Yes - chocolate. Well, perhaps we'll try that soon!!!
